Redpants Guided Driving Tours

Drive yourself around Japan’s Kanto region in an exotic sports car as we lead the way. We’ll take you through the city streets of Tokyo and Yokohama, or outside the urban sprawl to fantastic roads with incredible ​scenery. Our tours are designed to be as fun and stress-free as possible - we handle as much as possible so you don’t have to worry about it. You don’t even need to refill the car with fuel before returning it.

All of our tours are private. Only the registering customer and their guests may participate. That also means we can alter our tours to accommodate your needs!

Tokyo and Yokohama

Cruise around Tokyo and Yokohama with stops at famous locations like Tokyo Tower, Gyoko-dori, Daikokufuo Parking Area, and more.​ Tours are highly flexible and last 2-4 hours.

​東京タワー、行幸通り、大黒ふ頭駐車場などの有名な場所に立ち寄りながら、東京と横浜をクルーズします。ツアーは非常に柔軟で、所要時間は 2 ～ 4 時間です。

Requirements and Restrictions

Bookings for Guided Driving Tours must be requested at least 72 hours prior to the reservation time.

Drivers must be at least 26 years old. There are no additional charges for passengers in rental vehicles. All participants (drivers and passengers) must be registered prior to the reservation time.

​The following must be provided at least 72 hours prior to the reservation time to register a driver:

• Driver's License issued in country of residence

• International Driver's Permit (1949 version only. 1968 version is NOT accepted in Japan.)

• Passport with entry visa stamp

 The following must be provided at least 24 hours prior to the reservation time to register a passenger:

All documents must be valid, current, and unexpired. These same documents must also be presented in-person on the day of the reservation prior to the tour beginning. Documents that do not match what was provided in advance will be considered invalid and the tour will be cancelled according to our Cancellations and Refunds policies.

​A security deposit of ¥200,000 must be paid by credit card for each car rented for a Guided Driving Tour. The deposit is refunded upon the satisfactory return of the vehicle, however payment information is retained for 3 months in case of traffic violations or other instances that may demand it after the fact.

​Tours include vehicle insurance. This insurance covers the vehicle but does not include damage to its interior, wheels, or tires (including punctures). Any damage to the vehicle's interior, wheels, or tires will be repaired at the customer's expense including but not limited to deduction of repair costs from the customer’s security deposit.

Booking Cancellations and Refunds

​​​Bookings may be cancelled and refunds issued in accordance with the following criteria.

The customer will receive a 100% refund if:

• Redpants cancels at any time due to weather, vehicle issues or concerns that prevent the vehicle’s use, or other concerns outside of Redpants' control not specifically covered by this cancellations policy. Or,

• The customer cancels 7 or more calendar days prior to the reservation for any reason.

The Customer will receive a 50% refund if:

• The customer cancels 3-6 calendar days prior to the reservation for any reason.

The customer will not receive a refund if:

• Redpants cancels on the day of or during the reservation due to concerns about a customer (safety, driving, inebriation, impairment, judgment, capabilities, communication, validity of driving credentials, etc). Or,

• The customer is unable to provide all required information, documentation, and security deposit. Or,

• The customer cancels for any reason 2 or fewer calendar days prior to the Event.
